To perform this version update, launch an installed copy of the TechTool Pro 5 application and select the Check For Update… option located under the TechTool Pro 5 menu. To update an existing eDrive, boot to the eDrive and perform the Check For Update.

*Before performing this update, please have your TechTool Pro 5 serial number available since you will need to enter it after the update completes. Future updates to the program will preserve the product serial number.

The release if fully functional on Leopard and is stable on Snow Leopard as well, though its functionality is limited in 2 aspects on Snow Leopard.

1. QuickLook will only work on local files. I know.

2. AFP shared volumes are not detected correctly by this build. The workaround is to connect to AFP shares via Finder first. Once mounted in Finder, you will be able to use ForkLift to manage them in the normal way.

1. Download & install candybar 3.2
2. Open keyfiles folder and extract the plist from keyfile*.zip to:
./library/preferences
./users/library/preferences
3. Run candybar
quit candybar & try different keyfile if not success.
(try between the 9 files, for me the second was ok)
